Mike
Madden joined Jim Walter Resources in September 1996. Mike has
over 20 years of experience in the coal industry. Before joining
JWR he managed his own coal brokerage and consulting business in
Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to starting his own business,
Mike worked for Stines Coal Company in Lexington, Kentucky where
he began as Export Manager and was later promoted to Vice
President, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and
then to President. Mike has a Marketing Degree from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York and participated as a "Team Member" in a special research project for Ford Motor Corporation involving the Ford Mustang. He has served as Director of the Coal Exporters Association and been a member of the Coal Trade Association of New York/Maryland/Ohio/Kentucky/Virginia and is a member of the National Mining Association. Rodney Camp’s experience in the mining industry began at an early age as he followed in his father’s footsteps who operated surface mines in Alabama. He has over 25 years experience in coal mining since graduating from Auburn University in 1975 with a B.S. in Industrial Management. Rodney’s experience in the industry has been primarily in self-employed ventures, the most recent of which was at Oak Mountain Energy, where he served as Vice President and equity partner. In addition to Mr. Camp’s responsibilities as General Manager of Marketing, his functions also include transportation and quality control issues as well as special projects. He joined Jim Walter Resources in June 1999 and is active in the NCCI and ACCCI organizations. Phone: 205-554-6230

is Charles (Chuck)
M. Jones. Chuck began his coal sales
career in 1974 and has extensive experience in the industry. He is
a native of Dayton, Ohio and is a graduate of Austin Peay State
University.
He has worked
for Peabody Coal, AMAX Coal, Drummond Coal, Oxbow Carbon & Minerals
and as Alabama Governor's Office-Director of Constituent Services in
Montgomery. Chuck and his wife Becky, make their home in
Vestavia Hills. They have two grown children, Matt and Kelly. |
