MINING ENGINEERS
Jim Walter Resources, Inc. has openings for degreed Mining Engineers. Candidates will participate in all aspects of Mine Engineering (ventilation, strata control, etc.), underground operations/production, safety as well as obtain a working knowledge of the laws, regulations, practices and procedures concerning the operation of a deep shaft coal mine.  Our two coal mines are located approx. 15 minutes from the city of Tuscaloosa and The University of Alabama.  Jim Walter Resources offers excellent compensation and benefits including 401(k) and stock purchase plan for experienced and qualified applicants.
